Matson, Bullers, Pisarcik Get Nod for Jefferson County Commissioner

JEFFERSON COUNTY, Pa. (EYT) – Democrat Jeffrey Pisarcik joins Republicans John Jack Matson and Herbert Bullers Jr. were elected in the Jefferson County Commissioner’s race Tuesday.

Matson led the way with 4657 votes followed by Bullers at 4362 and Pisarcik at 2829.

Independent Mark Tonell landed 1618 votes and Democrat Scott Huffman received 1377 votes.

Matson and Bullers will replace Republican incumbents Paul Corbin and Jim McIntyre, who are both retiring.

All results remain unofficial until absentee and write-in ballots are calculated.

Election results are expected to be finalized by early next week.
