Mayport Man Allegedly Enters Mentally Handicapped Girl’s Bedroom Window Via Ladder, Sexually Assaults Her

Police car lightsREDBANK TWP., Pa. (EYT) – A Mayport man is facing sexual assault and related charges stemming from an alleged incident that occurred in Redbank Township, Armstrong County.

According to court records, New Bethlehem Police Department filed criminal charges against 35-year-old Scott Christopher Walker, of Mayport.

On June 9, 2016, Officer Nicole Peck and Chief Scott Ryan, of the New Bethlehem Police Department, responded to a call from Armstrong 911 for a complaint regarding Scott Christopher Walker.

According to a criminal complaint, the complainant explained that “within the last two weeks, Walker has been ‘coming around’ her residence, attempting to talk to her special needs daughter. The complainant also has told Walker several times to leave the known victim alone and to stay away from her house. The complainant explained that her daughter is mentally and physically handicapped and specifically has the mental capacity of a 10-year-old child.”

“The special needs daughter then disclosed that Walker climbed into her window and assaulted her,” the complaint states.

According to the complaint, “around 1:00 p.m. on June 10, 2016, a forensic interview was performed at Armstrong County CYS (Children and Youth Services) with the known special needs victim. During the forensic interview, it was disclosed that around 11:00 p.m. on June 3, Walker did get access to the known victim’s bedroom window by a ladder and then had the known victim open the window.”

Walker then allegedly undressed the victim and touched her inappropriately. He also allegedly had the known victim perform oral sex on him, the complaint states.

During this incident, Walker allegedly “put his hand over the known victim’s mouth and stated ‘If you don’t tell, I won’t tell,'” the complaint continues.

Based on her investigation, Officer Peck filed a criminal complaint against Walker in Magisterial District Court 33-3-04 in front of Judge Samuel R. Goldstrohm on the following charges:

  • Involuntary Deviate Sexual Intercourse, Felony 1
  • Aggravated Indecent Assault, Felony 2
  • Sexual Assault, Felony 2
  • Criminal Trespass, Felony 3
  • Indecent Assault, Misdemeanor 1

The case is working its way through the system.
