Mayport Man Charged with Suspected DUI Following Traffic Stop in Paint Twp.

PAINT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police say a 29-year-old Mayport man is facing multiple DUI related charges following a traffic stop that occurred around 8:18 p.m. May 2 in Paint Township, Clarion County.

According to police, the incident occurred when 29-year-old Steven Merle McMaster, of Mayport, allegedly committed multiple traffic violations while driving on State Route 322.

A traffic stop was conducted and McMaster was taken into custody on suspicion of Driving Under the Influence.

Police say McMaster was charged with the following offenses:

– Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance, General Impairment
– Driving Under the Influence of Alcohol or Controlled Substance, Highest Rate of Alcohol
– Driving While Operating Privilege is Suspended or Revoked
– Driving Required to be Licensed
– Driving on Roadways Laned for Traffic
– Careless Driving
