Mayport Woman Escapes Injury in Deer vs Car Collision

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225REDBANK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Clarion-based State Police say around 7:33 a.m. on October 5, a deer versus vehicle crash occurred on State Route 28, in Redbank Township, Clarion County.

According to police, the crash occurred as a 2010 Ford Escape operated by Lois A. Hinderliter, 64, of Mayport, was traveling north along Route 28.

A deer entered the roadway from the east side and the vehicle struck the deer, causing disabling damage, police say.

Hinderliter was wearing a seat belt and was uninjured.
