This very funny romp begins when mild mannered CPA Henry Perkins accidentally picks up the wrong briefcase and finds it full of money. Lots of money! He figures it is illicit cash. So he decides to keep it. But he realizes some crook must have his case. He rushes home to tell his confused wife to pack a few clothes – they are heading for Barcelona! The doorbell rings, and instead of their cabby, Henry is faced with a police detective wanting to know exactly what was he doing for so long in that public restroom? A complaint of possible solicitation was lodged! Then a second detective shows up. He is there to tell the wife that poor Henry is dead. His briefcase was found near his bullet ridden body. As Henry tries to extricate himself from trouble, more characters arrive as the situation gets more hilariously complex! A real winner from author Ray Cooney.
