Hunter-Trapper Education at the Heritage House

When: Saturday, April 2, 2016, 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Where: Heritage House, 4 Sylvania Street, Brookville
Details:
This is a six-hour training class required by law for all first-time hunters and trappers before they can buy a license. You must pass a certification exam at the end of the class to complete this training. In order to prepare for your class, read Chapters 1, 4, 5 and 9 located at Today’s Hunter & Trapper in PA. You must be at least 11 years of age to register for this class.

Growing for Good Daisy Program

When: Saturday, April 2, 2016, 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Where: Weather Discovery Center 201 North Findley Street Punxsutawney PA

Girl Scout Daisies will learn what a plant needs to grow as they each plant a mini herb garden. The girls will discuss how we can help each other to grow too. Includes a snack and a tour of the exhibits.

3rd Annual Kids’ Fair

Cook Forest Half-Marathon and 5K Run

Where:Cook Forest State Park Shelter Number 2 Cooksburg PA

32nd Annual Cook Forest Half Marathon and 5K Road Race. Lace up those running shoes and join us for another great run along the river! 13.1 mile and 5K run along the picturesque National Wild and Scenic Clarion River. Proceeds of the race support the Clarion University Track and Field Team and Clarion University Athletic Scholarships.

Spring Fling Dance & Basket Auction
