Brookville Area Relay for Life Fundraiser for Cancer
Friday Night Lights 5K Fun Run and Walk
When: Friday, July 31, 2015 9:00 p.m.
Where: Keystone High School, Knox, Pa.
Details:
Supporting the Keystone High School Football Booster Club. An evening 5k fun run and walk race starting at 8:45 and 9:00PM, with a cannon start! Runners/walkers will follow a mostly flat course with 2 gradual hills through side streets onto a secondary road,then back to side streets and finish on the high school track under the lights of the football field with a DJ playing. Pre-Registered runners/walkers get a cool reflective t-shirt, glow necklace, and award medals for the top 3 male & female finishers in each age group for both runners and walkers and an overall medal for top male and female finisher. Race registration begins at 7:30PM. Pre-race events begin at 5:00PM with youth flag football games, and a High School football scrimmage with concessions available for purchase. New walk division this year starting at 8:45pm.

Michael R Hardesty Memorial Scholarship 5K Run/Walk

This is an out and back road race with hills and flats. The kid’s race is before the main race. This event honors the life and spirit of Michael “Mike” Hardesty and raises funds for a scholarship awarded to a senior of Lakeview High School who participated in cross-country or track.
The Inaugural Dr. Albert Varacallo Memorial Bike Race
