Michael A. Kusenko

Michael A. Kusenko, age 81, from Cathers Run Road, Sigel, PA passed away on September 2, 2021.

Born in New Kensington, PA, on December 13, 1939, he was the son of the late Mike Kusenko and Minnie Martin Kusenko.

On November 15, 1960, he married Judith McIlwain, the love of his life.

He was a dance instructor for Arthur Murray Dance School where the two of them met. You could always find them doing the Jitterbug, they loved to dance.

His love for his family was more important that anything and he always made sure “his girl’s” and son Michael were taken care of.

Michael worked as a general agent at John Hancock, and later owned a roofing business, (Mak-Lynn).

After retirement, he worked as a Real Estate agent for his son at Meridian Real estate in Lower Burrell.

He also was a Nutritional consultant at his daughters business Sapphire Moon in Corsica.

Michael was the best wine maker and the worst speller (even thought he thought he wasn’t).

He also loved to tell stories, had the most contagious giggle, was the messiest eater, the tightest hugger and the best taxi driver. He always knew something about everything.

He would do anything to help anyone and enjoyed mentoring children. He was always eager to help people from everywhere with their health.

He is survived by his wife, Judith A. Kusenko, and one son, Michael (Valerie) Kusenko of New Kensington, PA, one daughter, Jennifer (Timothy) Keth of Brookville, PA, two grandchildren, Hannah Kusenko and Abigail Keth.

Also surviving are his two sisters: Marilyn Kusenko-Fairgrieve from Pittsburgh and Donna Molnar (John) from Springdale, PA and 3 nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are under the care of the Goble Funeral Home & Crematory in Clarion. As per family wishes there will be no visitation and a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
