Michael V. Poerio, 57, Rimersburg, died Wednesday, May 25, at his home.
He was born February 13, 1959, in Greensburg, a son of Sandra (Baker) and David A. Poerio, Sr.
David loved life, living footloose and fancy-free. He enjoyed riding jet skis, his four-wheeler and mowing grass.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by Drema and his sons Roman and Lucci of Punxsutawney; grandfather Lewis Baker and wife Shirley of Greensburg; three brothers, David A. Poerio, Jr. and wife Helen of Punxsutawney, Furie C. Poerio and wife Rita of Somerset; and Peter Poerio and wife LuAnn of Punxsutawney; a sister Elizabeth “DeeDee” Berger and husband Ronald of Rockton; three nephews, Buck, Dakota, and Jesse; a niece Shyloh; and his best friend Bob Criner and wife Pam of Rimersburg.
He was preceded in death by a maternal Grandmother Betty Baker and his Paternal Grandparents Giuseppe and Christine Poerio.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, May 27, 2016, and from 11 to 1 p.m., Saturday, May 28, 2016, at the Deeley Funeral Home, Punxsutawney.
