Michele R. Fike, Age 47 of Route 410, Punxsutawney, PA, died Saturday, February 20, 2016 at her home.
Born on September 26, 1968, she was the daughter of Ronald Fike of Glenn Campbell, PA, & Marlene J. (Henry) Fike of Punxsutawney, PA.
Michele was the coordinator for the Weatherization Program for Community Action in Punxsutawney for several years. Previous to that, she worked for Clepper Bus service in DuBois.
She was a 1986 graduate of DuBois Central Catholic and was a graduate of the DuBois Business College. She also graduated from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania School of Commercial Driving where she obtained her CDL. She was a volunteer for Make a Wish. Michele was a loving person that was always willing to reach out and help people.
She is survived by a brother, Calvin W. Fike of Brady Township, PA.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents (Mae & Russell Fike), her maternal grandparents, (Violet & Carl Henry) and step paternal grandmother (Annabelle Turner Fike).
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2015 from 5 to 8 p.m. from the Goble-Baronick Funeral Home Inc.
A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2016 at 11 a.m. from the funeral home with Fr. Rick Tomasone officiating.
Burial will follow in Oaklawn Cemetery.
