Mildred A. “Mim” Stiteler, 88 of Smicksburg, went to be with the Lord Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Mulberry Square Elder Care & Rehabilitation Center.
Mrs. Stiteler was born November 25, 1927 in Punxsutawney, a daughter of the late Frank J. Niel and Letha (Cochran) Niel.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Kenneth Stiteler on August 19, 2016. They were married 70 years.
She was a member of Salem Lutheran Church in Smicksburg. She was very active within her church, and she also loved gardening, her flower beds, and fishing.
She is survived by one brother; John Niel of Smicksburg, and two sisters; N. Ann Stiteler of Smicksburg and Janet Niel of Indiana.
Friends will be received from 10:30 untill 11:30 am December 3, 2016 at the Salem Lutheran Church in Smicksburg where a memorial service will be held at 11:30 with Pastor Arlene Schweitzer officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of the McCabe Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.
