Mildred M. Fenstermaker, 96, of Brookville, PA, passed away on June 21, 2022, while a resident of Penn Highlands Jefferson Manor in Brookville.
She was born on July 17, 1925, to the late Allison Wesley and Florence Kathryn (Ransel) Oaks in Brookville.
Mildred married Richard Fenstermaker on March 1, 1951, in Frostburg, MD; Richard preceded her in passing.
Mildred had a recognizable face in the community having held positions at Dan Smith’s Candies, Jefferson Manor, and Brookville Truck Stop.
She was also a longtime member of the Brookville Presbyterian Church.
Mildred had a couple of hobbies over her lifetime but was always most passionate about cooking.
Mildred will be dearly missed by her family and community. Mildred is survived by two sons, Mike (Marsha) Fenstermaker and Richard (Debbie) Fenstermaker; five grandchildren; and one great grandchild.
In addition to her parents and husband, Mildred was preceded in passing by two brothers, Bill and Jim.
Services will be held privately to the family and have been entrusted to the McKinney – d’Argy Funeral Home, 345 Main Street, Brookville, PA, 15825.
Final interment will take place at Jefferson Cemetery, Jefferson Co., PA.
