The Golden Eagles enter the contests 2-6 overall and 1-4 in the PSAC West and are coming off a 42-17 loss at IUP last week, while Slippery Rock is 5-3 overall and 2-3 in the West after falling, 37-35, to Edinboro last week at home when the Fighting Scots got an untimed down on the game’s final play throwing a 2-yard touchdown pass after a pass interference call against The Rock.

Since the inception of the trophy, The Rock has won by a combined score of 215-80, an average of 22 points per game. That includes a 65-13 win at Slippery Rock last season.
