Millard “Bud” Hickox, 81, of Punxsutawney, PA died Sunday, November 23, 2014 at home.
He was born March 22, 1933 in Punxsutawney, PA, the son of the late Millard and Mary (Sample) Hickox.
He was a laborer in the construction industry.
He was a veteran of the US Army having served as a Sgt. during the Korean Conflict.
He was a member of the American Legiion and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
He is survived by one daughter, Diane Burkett and her husband, Thomas of Rockton, PA; two sons, Thomas Hickox and his wife Kay of Rossiter, PA and James Hickox and his wife Mary of Punxsutawney, PA; and by 6 Grandchildren and 4 Great-Grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers, James, John, Richard, William and Howard Hickox and by one sister, Bonnie Jean Depp.
At the family’s request, there will be no public visitation and funeral services will be private at the convenience of the family.
