Mistaken Identity Causes Problems for Local Woman

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – A case of mistaken identity has led to some difficulties for a local woman.

Christine Cherico Nichols, 51, (pictured on right) is a resident of Clarion and she also works for WRC Senior Services, which manages properties in Brookville and Clarion.

Christine Cherico Nichols is the Director/Sales Counselor for the Villas at Water Run in Clarion and also the Director of the Laurels, WRC’s continuing care retirement community in Brookville.

Recently, another woman, Christine Lorraine Nichols, 29, of 64 McManigle Road in Eldred Township, was charged with child rape, sexual assault, and child pornography from incidents that happened in October 2016.

“I have no association with this other woman, and I do not have anything to do with this case,” Christine Cherico Nichols said. “I work in Brookville and Clarion and have had calls to inquire if that was me, and it has affected my job.”
