Moniteau Rejoins Field; Top Teams Remain Same in October 12 District 9 Football Rankings

CLARION, Pa. – Moniteau rejoined the field of 10 in the October 12 District 9 Top 10 Football Rankings, while the top teams in the rankings remained the same led by No. 1 Karns City.

The Warriors (5-2) are back in the Top 10 after a couple of weeks absence. Their lone losses on the year have come to the top two teams in the rankings, Karns City (7-0) and Clarion (6-1).

DuBois (5-2) checks in at No. 3, Ridgway (7-0) is No. 4, Redbank Valley (6-0) round out the top five.

Clearfield (5-2) comes in at No. 6, Elk County Catholic (6-1) jumps two spots to No. 7 as does Curwensville (6-1) at No. 8 with Kane (5-2) dropping from seventh to ninth. Brockway (4-3) fell out of the rankings after losing for the third straight week, this time 28-14 to Ridgway.
home to Ridgway, while Curwensville (5-1) remains at 10th after a big win over St. Joseph’s Catholic Academy.

There are two Top 10 matchups this week with Kane hosting ECC and Redbank Valley traveling to Moniteau.
