Mraz Named PSAC West Freshman of the Week for Third Straight Week


LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – For the third consecutive week, Clarion’s Mason Mraz has been named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference’s freshman of the week for the West Division.

Mraz continued his impressive freshman campaign, knocking down 3 of 6 three-point attempts and finishing with 11 points and 5 rebounds in an 83-80 loss to Bloomsburg.

Over his first 10 collegiate basketball games, Mraz has established himself as an offensive threat, averaging 12.7 points per game while having converted 20 of 55 attempts from three-point range. He currently ranks 11th among all PSAC players in three-point baskets made.

Mraz and the Golden Eagles will be back in action next Monday, December 18th, when they host Penn State Dubois at 7 p.m.
