Nancy Lee Olivio, age 78 of Brockway, PA; passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2015 at Highland View Health Care in Brockway.
Born on November 2, 1936 in Coolspring, PA; she was the daughter of the late Chester and Sarah Keller Gelnett.
She was married to Richard Olivio and he preceded her in death in 1973.
Nancy attended and graduated from the Sykesville Schools. Retired, she had worked in the Main Office at Brockway Glass, and at Plant 2. She also waitressed for many years at the Holiday Inn, Ramada Inn and at Treasure Lake.
She enjoyed cooking, baking and spending time with her family. Nancy was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway, and also a member of the Rosary Society.
She is survived by 2 sons: Jim (Connie) Olivio of Brockway; Michael (Linda) Olivio of Brockway; 1 daughter: Tricia (Rick) Clark also of Brockway; 6 grandchildren: Vanessa Olivio of Brockway, Kyle Olivio of Illinois, Darren Olivio of Brockway, Jordan Olivio of Ohio and Matthew and Olivia Clark also of Brockway. Nancy is also survived by 2 sisters: Patty Moore and Kay (Yeaney) MacGregor and her step-mother Ruby Irwin all of California. In addition to her parents and her husband, she is also preceded in death by a son Daniel Olivio who died in 2005.
As per her request there will be no public visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, September 18 at 9:30 AM at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding. Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Brockway Ambulance Association, Brockway Vol. Hose Company, St. Tobias Cemetery or the Brockway High School Student Loan Fund.
