Naomi Jean Valentine, 86, DuBois, passed away Sunday, January 21, 2018, at Christ the King Manor.
Born September 24, 1931, she was the daughter of the late John W. and Bernice L. (Frye) Deasey Sr.
On May 19, 1962, she married Pat Valentine in Virginia. He preceded her in death on October 31, 2002.
Jean graduated from the DuBois Area High School in 1949 and attended the Clearfield Hospital School of Nursing. She retired after her work as a registered nurse at Penn State DuBois. Jean was a member of First United Presbyterian Church.
Jean is survived by four siblings, Raymond (Effie) Deasey, Rockton, Donald (Thelma) Deasey, Northeast, PA, Vivian Miller, Port St. Lucie, FL, and Joy (Fred) Braid, Eldersburg, Maryland, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Pat, and three siblings, Ann Rohrer and Walter and Jack Deasey.
No public visitation will be held, but family and friends are invited to attend the funeral service on Saturday, January 27, at 3:00 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel, Inc. with LaMarr Adamson CLP officiating. Interment will be in Morningside Cemetery.
