New Owners, Local Officials Gather for Redbank Chevrolet Ribbon Cutting Ceremony

Ribbon-CuttingNEW BETHLEHEM, Pa. (EYT) – An enthusiastic crowd of neighbors, area business people, and local dignitaries braved cold snowy wind Thursday to celebrate the start of new ownership of a Redbank Valley landmark, Redbank Chevrolet in New Bethlehem. The ribbon cutting ceremony welcomed the new owners into the community and welcome patrons into the “new,” though long established, dealership.

The Redbank Valley business community was well represented by several of the area’s businesses. The Redbank Valley Chamber of Commerce was represented by Vice President of the Chamber, Gordon Barrows, serving as emcee for the Ribbon Cutting. New Bethlehem Mayor Tim Murray and Borough Council President Sandy Mateer were both in attendance.

Mike Hindman said, “We are looking forward to continuing to be part of the New Bethlehem community and have some good things planned for the future.”

That Redbank Chevrolet is even here today to celebrate new ownership is a testimony to former owner Ron Seidle who fought back against the GM dealership restructuring during the years 2008 – 2010. His belief in the vehicles and in the community to continue to support a Chevrolet dealership have proved to be well-founded.

The new ownership team of Mike Hindman, Jody Britton, and Mike Heffner bring a strong mix of business and automobile dealership experience into Redbank Chevrolet. Jody Britton and Mike Heffner have both worked at Redbank Chevy for 25 years. Mr. Britton has been Sales Manager since 2015, and Mr. Heffner has been Business Manager since 2000. Mike Hindman has been M and B Services of Clarion and M and B Redi-Mix of Clarion and Brookville. Mr. Hindman’s business experience is a great match with the dealership experience of the other two partners.

The mood of the guests matched the positive enthusiasm of the new ownership team with everyone attending wishing the best for Redbank Chevrolet. The Redbank Chevy team provided Subway sandwich lunches for their guests.
