No Injuries in Sandy Twp. Crash

SANDY TOWNSHIP, Clearfield Co. (EYT) — No injuries were reported in a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Save A Lot and South Brady Street, according to DuBois-based State Police.

Wesley Mauk, 49, of Harrisburg, who was driving a 2016 International Harvester Conventional, was stopped at a red light in the left-hand lane at the entrance to Save A Lot.

John Wells, 46, of DuBois, who was driving a 2016 Nissan NV3500, was stopped behind Mauk’s vehicle, partially in the right and left lanes.

Wells attempted to back up, but slid forward and hit the rear end of Mauk’s vehicle.

Mauk and Wells were not injured and neither were two passenger’s in Well’s car, Leah Peirce and Johanna Warner, both of DuBois.
