No Injuries Reported After Tractor-Trailers Collide Along Woodland Bigler Highway

BRADFORD TWP., Pa. (EYT) – No injuries were reported after a crash in Bradford Township involving two tractor-trailers.

According to Clearfield-based State Police, this crash happened at 6:27 a.m. on Thursday, May 25, on Woodland Bigler Highway, in Bradford Township, Clearfield County.

Police say a 2024 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by 62-year-old Morris D. Newmen, of Lauderhill, FL, attempted to turn onto Woodland Bigler Highway from Tipple Lane after stopping at a posted stop sign.

According to police, Newmen failed to observe westbound traffic, which resulted in it being rear-ended by a 2015 Mack Truck operated by 48-year-old Phillip W. Dively, of Claysburg.

Both Newmen and Dively were using a seat belt and were not injured.

The trailing unit to Newmen’s tractor-trailer sustained minor damages.

Dively’s tractor-trailer obtained disabling front end damage.

According to police, Newmen was charged with a traffic violation.
