Norman Allen Mitchell, Sr., 79, of Punxsutawney, PA died on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Punxsutawney Area Hospital in Punxsutawney, PA.
He was born June 6, 1937 in Connellsville, PA.
He worked as a truck driver most of his life.
He is survived by three sons, Norman A. Mitchell, Jr and his wife, Carol, of Punxsutawney, PA; Robin Mitchell and Timothy Mitchell, both of Punxsutawney, PA; two brothers, Harry Mitchell and his wife, Florence of Knoxdale, PA and Henry Mitchell of Uniontown, PA; and by one sister, Dubbie Mitchell of Uniontown, PA.
He is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren
He was preceded in death by one brother and by one sister.
Friends will be received at the Richard L. Fait Funeral Home in Punxsutawney, PA on Friday, December 16, 2015 from 2-4.
The funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, December 16, 2016 at 4:00 PM with Rev. Paul Ritchey officiating.
