NWS: Thunderstorms, Heavy Rainfall Expected; Flooding Possible

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – The National Weather Service in Pittsburgh has issued a Hazardous Weather Outlook for the region.

The following message was issued by the National Weather Service today at 3:31 p.m.:

THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR WESTERN MARYLAND…EAST CENTRAL OHIO…NORTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA…SOUTHWEST PENNSYLVANIA…WEST CENTRAL PENNSYLVANIA…NORTHERN WEST VIRGINIA AND NORTHERN PANHANDLE OF WEST VIRGINIA.

DAY ONE…THIS AFTERNOON AND TONIGHT.

SOME SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS WILL MOVE VERY SLOWLY AND BE CAPABLE OF PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. THIS COULD LEAD TO LOCALIZED FLOODING.

DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN…MONDAY THROUGH SATURDAY.

NO HAZARDOUS WEATHER IS EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
