One-Car Crash in Brookville, Driver Escapes Injury

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – According to Brookville Borough Police, around 5:00 p.m. on November 26, a one-car accident occurred on Cemetery Road and Brookville High School side entrance way, in Brookville, Jefferson County.

Police say a 17-year-old female, of Brookville, was driving a 2009 Volkswagen east on Cemetery Road and lost control of her car on the snow/slush and ice-covered road.

The vehicle slid across the road and struck the end of the guide rail at the intersection of the side entrance way to Brookville Area High School, according to police.

Damage to the vehicle was severe, and it had to be removed from the scene by McPherson Towing.

The teen was using a seat belt and was not injured.
