One-Vehicle Accident on Route 28, Pine Creek Township

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225PINE CREEK TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 2:02 p.m. on March 15, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 28, in Pine Creek Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 60-year-old Patricia C. Shaffer, of Brookville, was traveling north on SR 28, negotiating a left hand curve, and the suspension on her 2002 Subaru Impreza broke.

Shaffer was able to steer the vehicle off the road to a controlled stop on private property.

The vehicle came to a final rest facing northeast.

Shaffer was using a seat belt and was not injured, police say.
