One Vehicle Crash in Winslow Township; Reynoldsville Man, Infant Passenger Escape Injuries

WINSLOW TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to DuBois-based State Police, a one-vehicle accident occurred on Wayne Road, 408 feet south of Last Chance Lane, in Winslow Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 19-year-old William B. Ford, of Reynoldsville, was traveling northbound on Wayne Road and was attempting to negotiate a right curve in the roadway. He came into contact with icy road conditions and lost control of his 2005 Honda Pilot.

The vehicle spun in a clockwise rotation and went off the west side of the roadway striking several mailboxes, according to police.

It came to a rest in a driveway along Wayne Road, police say.

It sustained disabling damage and was towed from the scene.

Ford and an infant male passenger escapes injuries.

Ford was using a seat belt, and the infant was using a child safety seat.

Ford was charged with a traffic violation.
