One-Vehicle Crash on Route 36, Driver Escapes Injury

ELDRED TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – Marienville-based State Police say around 3:06 p.m. on November 26, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 36, north of Van Steenberg Lane, in Eldred Township, Jefferson County.

According to police, 60-year-old Richard A. Shedden, of Brookville, was traveling northbound on SR 36 and lost control of his 2006 Ford F-150 pickup due to slippery condition.

The vehicle spun in a counterclockwise direction, traveled off the roadway, and struck an embankment.

Shedden was using a seat belt and was not injured.

The pickup sustained moderate front end damage and was towed from the scene by McPherson Towing.
