Organizers Prepping for Knox Township Firemen’s Homecoming

KNOX TWP., Pa. (EYT) – The 43rd Annual Knox Township Firemen’s Homecoming is slated for Friday, August 29, 2014 to Monday, September 1, 2014 in Knoxdale, Pa.

Highlights of the event include a Softball Tourney, Lawn Mower Races, a Parade, a Demo Derby, Fireworks, and much more.

8:00-10:00 AM – Pancake Breakfast
8:00 AM- Dusk – Softball Tournament
11:00 AM – Community Parade at Knox UM Church Parking Lot
11:30-12:30 AM  – Lawn Mower Race Registration
1:00 PM – Lawn Mower Races
5:00 PM – Doors Open for 10^th Annual Gun Bash
6:00 PM – 9:00 PM – 10^th Annual Gun Bash
9:30 PM – Ground Fireworks Display

Sunday, August 31^st

8:00-10:00 AM – Pancake Breakfast
10:00 AM- Community Church Service
11:00 AM- Dusk – Softball Tournament
Noon – Annual Chicken BBQ
Noon – Registration Opens for 20^th Annual Demolition Derby
2:30 PM – Registration Deadline for Demolition Derby
Approx. 3:00 PM –  20^th Annual Demolition Derby (Compacts 4 cylinder/6 cylinder and Full Clean-up Derby)
*$5.00 per Person – 7 and under Free
