Over $5000 in Damages after Brookville Drive-By Shooting

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Police report an incident involving a man allegedly discharging a firearm into a garage took place last night on South Pickering Street, Brookville.

Police say that they were called to South Pickering Street around 11 p.m. on August 20 after receiving reports of gunshots being fired into a garage.

Through the course of an investigation it was determined that the suspect was drinking alcoholic beverages at a local establishment and became upset about his employer of several years ago, according to police.

Police say that the actor drove by and shot 9 times into a garage with a 9mm pistol, causing over $5000 in damages.

The suspect is currently lodged in the Jefferson County Jail.

The suspect is facing charges including Recklessly Endangering another Person, Criminal Mischief, Possession of Instruments of Crime, Former Convict not to Own a Firearm, Firearm not to be Carried without a license, Carrying Loaded Weapons , and Possession Of a Firearm with an Altered Manufacturers Number.

The police have not released any names in connection with this incident.
