Pamela Ann (Miller) Lightcap

Pamela Ann (Miller) Lightcap 73 of Dayton, Pa. passed away Sunday, November 26, 2017, at Penn Highlands Hospital in Brookville.

She was born on August 24, 1944, in Brookville, a daughter of Harris and Betty (Gelnett) Miller.

She is survived by her longtime companion Robert (Bob) Wadding with whom she made her home with for the past 40 years.

Pam worked in retail sales having worked at Stockdale’s store in Dayton. She was also employed at the Big Run Shoe Factory.

Her enjoyments were her wolf collection, country music, finding a great bargain and her love of shoes.

In addition to her beloved companion Bob, she is survived by her mother Betty (Gelnett) Miller Knapp Barr, a sister Debby (Dean) Park of Brookville, step-sisters Vonnie (Glenn) Shaffer of Corsica, Crystal (Dennis) Cochran of Brookville, a brother, Mark (Janice) Knapp of Brookville, step-brother Gary Barr of Brookville, a sister-in-law Mabel Miller of Townville, step-daughters Dana Beal, and Stacy Demichele and a step-son Troy (Tammy) Wadding , a sister-in-law, Connie (John) McCafferty, a brother-in-law, Bill (Melissa) Wadding also numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Harris Miller, step-fathers, Wilbert GB Knapp and Clarence “Oscar” Barr, a niece Mindy Park-Miller and a brother Gerald Miller,

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Wednesday, November 29,2017, at the Shumaker Funeral Home in Punxsutawney.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, November 30, 2017, at 1:00 pm at the funeral home, officiated by Rev. Chuck Jack.

Interment will follow at St. John’s Windy Hill Cemetery.
