Passenger Injured in Rollover Crash on Route 119

car-accident-graphic-5254_jpg_475x310_q85-300x225BELL TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Punxsutawney-based State Police, around 8:56 a.m. on January 3, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 119, west of Albion Road, in Bell Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 50-year-old Douglas C. Cornely, of DuBois, was traveling south on SR 119, when he lost control of his 1997 GMC P3500 on the icy roadway.

The vehicle exited the western portion of the roadway then overturned. It came to a final rest facing west.

Cornely was not injured in the crash.

A passenger in his vehicle – Lisa A. Cataldi, of DuBois – suffered minor injuries.

Neither occupant was using a seat belt.

The vehicle sustained heavy damage and was towed from the scene by Southside Towing.
