Pastor David Earl Bish

Pastor David Earl Bish, Age 54 of 558 Treasure Lake, DuBois, PA, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 23, 2016.

Born on March 27, 1961 in New Kensington, PA, he was the son of Bill & Miriam (Neal) Bish. His mother preceded him in death; his father survives and lives in Smicksburg, PA.

On June 15, 1985, he married Lori (Dunn) Bish. She survives.

Dave was the founding and lead pastor of the Tri County Church. He loved to hunt, fish, read, spend time with his dogs, and ride his motorcycle. Most importantly, he loved his family and friends.

He dedicated his life to serving God by reaching people and changing lives. As a church leader, Dave’s highest value was living like Jesus, loving like Jesus, and leaving behind what Jesus left behind. He would want everyone to know that Jesus is, and always should be the subject.

Dave is survived by 4 children (Kyle David Bish of DuBois, PA; Braden Mark Bish of Pittsburgh, PA; Jocelyn Beth Godo & her husband Jakob of DuBois, PA; and Bevan Earl Bish, also of DuBois, PA) 3 sisters (MaryBeth Grujich, Dottie Kirk; Diane Green) a brother (Mark Bish) and their families.

There will be no public visitation.

2 identical Celebration of Life services will be held. The first will be on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 6 p.m., the second, on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at 10:45 a.m. from the Tri County Church on the Hill.

The Reverend Jim Lyon, National Director for the Church of God ministries, will co officiate each service with the Reverend Dan Smith, Executive Pastor of Tri County Church.

In order to accommodate all who wish to attend, respectfully choose one of the two identical services. If you are unable to attend, the service will be streamed live on line at www.livestream.com/tcclive.

Although flowers are appreciated, the family would prefer donations in Dave’s memory be made to the Tri County Church, 1881 Old 255 Road, DuBois, PA 15801. The donations will benefit the My Story Campaign.

The Goble-Baronick Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
