OI1763416191_Colganphoto[1]Patricia A. Colgan, age 84 a Rattlesnake Road Brockway resident died on Sunday, January 11, 2015 at Penn Highlands Elk in St Marys, Pa.

Born in DuBois on July 7, 1930, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Ruth McMinn Siple.

Pat was married to Robert M. “Herky” Colgan and he preceded her in death on January 23, 2011.

Retired, she had been employed at Brockway Glass as a packer.

She was a member of the Lanes Mills United Methodist Church for over 65 years, the Sugar Hill Grange, and a lifetime member of the Order of the Eastern Star.

Pat loved spending time with her family. She enjoyed cross-stitching, collecting humming birds and lighthouses.

She is survived by a daughter Ruth “Annie” (Ron) Waters of Mansfield, Pa; two sons Robert (Diane) Colgan of Ridgway and Thomas (Laura) Colgan of Brockway; 5 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren and 3 step great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and her husband she is also preceded in death by 1 sister and 2 brothers.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday, January 13 from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, January 14 at 11:00 A.M. at the funeral home with Pastor Bob Trask officiating.

Burial will follow in the Beechwoods Cemetery.

Memorial donations may be made to the Brockway Ambulance, Brockway Vol. Hose Company or the Brockway Historical Society.
