Patricia A. “Patty” Walters

3617438[1]Patricia A. “Patty” Walters, 65, of 143 Plank Road, Wilcox, died Thursday afternoon, March 3, 2016 at UPMC Shadyside in Pittsburgh due to complications of multiple myeloma.

A 51 year resident of Johnsonburg, Patty was born May 31, 1950 in St. Marys, daughter of Victor M. and Ruth M. Lenze Moneta. On December 28, 1967 in Hagerstown, Md., she married Floyd H. Walters, who survives.

She worked as a receptionist at Nationwide Insurance in Ridgway for many years, then was a teller at Northwest Savings Bank in Johnsonburg for over eighteen years, retiring in 2014.

Patty was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Johnsonburg. She enjoyed bowling, hunting, casinos and spending time with her family.

Surviving, in addition to her husband, are a daughter, JoElla (Chris) Heil of Rochester, N.Y.; two sons, Floyd Daniel (Laurie) Walters of Pryor, Okla. and Victor Thomas (Kim) Walters of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Kathy (Nol) Broussard of Baton Rouge, La. and Linda (Ben) Peterson of Wilcox; and six grandchildren, Ethan, Max, Aleesha, Tyler, Rachel and Anthony. Two great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents.

Services will be held at the convenience of the family.
