Patricia Ann Dodd

Patricia Ann Dodd, age 74, long-time resident of Cambridge Springs, PA, passed away at Elmwood Gardens Nursing Home in Erie, PA on Friday, September 25, 2015, following an extended illness.

She had been a resident of the nursing home for the past four months. Born on March 30, 1941 in DuBois, PA, Patricia was the daughter of the late Logan Murray and Virginia Alexander Murray. She was employed at Lord Corporation in Saegertown for over 20 years and was a member of Cambridge Springs American Legion Post #381 Ladies Auxiliary. A loving, mother and grandmother, Patricia will be missed by her family and friends.

Surviving Patricia are five daughters – Pamela Willow and her husband, David of North Carolina; Joni Germano and her husband, Robert of Canandaigua, NY; Toni Brink and her companion, Dale Coon of Saegertown; Lori Copeland and her husband, Bret of Saegertown; and Dana Dunbar and her husband, Reid of Dallas, TX. Other survivors include Patricia’s grandchildren – Stephen May and his wife, Amanda; Dustin Yenny and his companion, Rallyn; Shannon Hoad and her husband, Kevin; Zachary Willow; Morgan Willow; Adriane Stuckey; Sonny Germano; Sammy Germano; Austin Dunbar; Maddox Dunbar; and Lilly Dunbar; and her two great grandchildren – Joshua and Nathaniel. Also surviving is a brother – George Murray and his wife, Terry of DuBois; a sister – Arlene and her husband Raymond of Erie; and a sister-in-law – Nancy Murray of DuBois. Additionally, there are many nieces and nephews who survive including two special nieces – Jacque Boyles and Kathy Hallowell and a special nephew – Michael Paul Murray. Patricia was preceded in death by a sister – Gloria Adamson and four brothers – David Alexander, William Murray, Dale Murray, and Tom Murray; infant twin brothers at birth; and an infant grandson – Jeremy.

Friends may call at the Van Matre Family Funeral Home in Cambridge Springs on Monday from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. and on Tuesday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 pm. Funeral services will begin at the funeral home at 1:00 p.m. with Richard Haemer, pastor of the Saegertown Community Church, officiating. Interment will be in Mitchell Cemetery.
