Patsy L. Gatto

patsyPatsy L. Gatto age 84 a resident at Ill. Villaggio in Brockway, Pa., died on Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Penn Highlands DuBois.

Born on May 11, 1932 in Brockway, he was the son of the late Pete and Carmella Bruno Gatto.

On September 14, 1957 he was married to Shirley J. Bohren and she survives.

Retired, Patsy was employed as a Tool Maker at Brockway Glass.

He was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway and was a U.S. Army Korean war veteran. He was a member of Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion.

Patsy enjoyed hunting, fishing, woodworking/carpentry and growing roses.

His greatest enjoyment came from spending time with his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

In addition to his wife he is also survived by 4 daughters: Cathy (Bill) Himes of Brockport; Sue Gatto of Brockway; Teresa (Scott) Ammons of Connellsville, Pa.; Julie (Brian) Cuturilo of Irwin, Pa. and 1 son Michael Gatto of Hanover, Pa. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by a sister Julia Galluzzi, a brother George Gatto and 2 infant sons.

There will be no public visitation. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, November 23 at 9:30 AM at St. Tobias Church in Brockway with Msgr. Charles Kaza presiding.

Burial will follow in St. Tobias Cemetery. Full Military Honors will be accorded at the cemetery on Wednesday morning by Parson-Marnati Post #95 of the American Legion.
