Penn State’s Page Named Big Ten Women’s Basketball Player of the Week

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (EYT) – Penn State sophomore guard Teniya Page is the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Player of the Week.

Page, the first Penn State player to earn Player of the Week honors since Maggie Lucas Jan. 28, 2014, averaged 26 points, five rebounds and four assists per game in wins over Akron and 13th-ranked Tennessee. She scored 29 points, including 11 in the fourth quarter, in the victory over Tennessee and posted-back-to-back-20-point games for the first times in her career when she also scored 23 vs. Akron to go with seven assists and six rebounds.
