Due to extreme winter road conditions, PennDOT had temporarily reduced the speed limit on several roadways in the region.
Indiana – PennDOT has lifted the speed limit restrictions that were in place on Interstate 80 in Clarion and Jefferson Counties.
Due to the winter storm impacting the region, speed limits were reduced this morning to 45 mph on Interstates 79 and 80 in the Indiana-based District 10 region.
Speeds were restored to normal on Interstate 79 earlier. Meanwhile, PennDOT is continuing to treat roadways in the area and will continue until roads are clear.
