Woman Accused of Stealing Shotgun from Perry Twp. Home

PERRY TWP., Pa. (EYT) – State Police in Punxsutawney are investigating a March 23 burglary in Perry Township, Jefferson County.

Police say a known person entered a residence on Valier Drive and removed a Mossberg 500 Super Bantam 20-gauge shotgun valued at $200.

strong>Amanda J. Pearce, 33, of Valier, was subsequently charged with Burglary, Theft, Criminal Trespass, Theft By Deception and Receiving Stolen Property.

Charges were filed through District Court 54-3-01.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PSP Punxsutawney or Crime Stoppers.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
