Peter “Pete” H. Spuck Jr.

Peter “Pete” H. Spuck Jr., 73, DuBois, passed away Saturday, March 20, 2021, at his home.

Born April 17, 1947, in DuBois, he was the son of the late Peter and Aileen (Yale) Spuck Sr.

On March 13, 1971, he married Deborah “Debbie” (Crytser) Spuck at the Gelnett Memorial Church. They recently celebrated 50 years of marriage. She survives.

Pete graduated from the DuBois Area High School. During the Vietnam Era, he served in the U.S. Army with the 101st Airborne Division from 1967-1969. He was a member of the Sabula Fire Company and a lifetime member of the VFW. Pete enjoyed trapping animals, taking trips to Salamanca, playing bingo, and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was Methodist by faith.

In addition to his wife, Pete is survived by two children, Peter H. Spuck III and his partner, Mitchell Warren, Sabula, and Crystal Spicher and her wife, Angie Franco, Sabula; two grandchildren, Jacquelyn and Tyler Spicher; five siblings, Paul Spuck, Soldier, David Spuck, Sabula, Barbara (Craig) Hoffman, Penfield, Susan Carlini, Sabula, and Douglas Spuck, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends and family will be received Tuesday, March 23, 2021, from 4-7 p.m. at the Adamson Funeral Chapel and Crematorium. A funeral service will be held Wednesday, March 24, 2021 at 11 a.m. from the funeral chapel with Rev. Kevin Brooks officiating. Military honors will be accorded by the DuBois Area Honor Guard. To adhere to current regulations, face coverings are required and social distancing will be practiced. In addition, visitors are asked to keep their visit brief to allow others to pay their respects.
