Last Chance to Enter ‘Back to School’ Photo Contest

CLARION, Pa. (EYT) – EYT Media Group – the parent company of,, and, has announced it is giving away $650 in school supplies as part of its “Back to School” Photo Contest.

As a way to give back to the community, the popular network of local news websites is giving away a combined $650 to the winners of the contest. Each winner will also receive five tickets to the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.

“We’ve received tremendous support from the community,” said EYT Media Group’s Jake Bauer. “Giving back to people who have helped us get to where we are is very important to us.”

The contest kicks off today, August 25, 2015.


Share your ‘Back to School’ photos with,, and for a chance to win zoo tickets and up to $300 in school supplies for your school.

To enter, simply post your Back to School photo(s) on one of the Explore Facebook pages (exploreClarion, exploreJefferson, or exploreVenango).

Alternatively, photos can be sent to Please include the subject line, “Back to School Contest”.


First Place – $300
Second Place – $200
Third Place – $100
Fourth Place – $50

* Each winner will also receive 5 tickets to the Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium.
** Prize money will be distributed in the form of a check to each winner’s school.


Winners will be chosen by a panel of voters that includes EYT Media Group staff and readers of the Explore sites.

Check on September 4 to see if your photo has been selected as a winner.


To ensure privacy, students names will not be posted without the permission of a parent or legal guardian.
