Phyllis J. Fusco, 90, Florence, S.C., formally of Punxsutawney, died Thursday, July 2, 2015 in Florence, S.C.
Born May 6, 1925 in Omaha, Nebraska, the daughter of the late Berley V. (Saunders) Hall Larson and Paul R. Hewitt.
On April 17, 1947, she married William G. “Bill” Fusco, who preceded her in death on October 2, 2013.
She was a housewife and former Rola-Jenson employee.
Surviving relatives include a son William Nicholas Fusco and wife Andrea of Charleston, S.C.; two grandchildren, Benjamin Fusco and wife Kim of Baltimore, MD, and Jessica Allen and husband Jason of Florence, S.C.; four great grandchildren, Isabella, Elisabeth, and Matthew Allen, and Caroline Fusco.
In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a son Phillip Fusco.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, July 6, 2015, at Calvary Cemetery, Punxsutawney.
Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made, in Mrs. Fusco’s memory, to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
