Phyllis M. Wolfe, 81, of Summerville, PA. passed away on Thursday, November 20, 2014 at her home.
Born November 17, 1933, in Brookville, she was the daughter of the late James Boyd Waldorf and Rebecca Witherow Waldorf.
Phyllis graduated from Clarion Limestone High School. Phyllis was married to Clarence Wolfe on April 7, 1953 in Brookville, PA. He preceded her in death on October 12, 1991. She attended The Church of the Nazarene in Brookville. She was a homemaker and her hobbies included sewing, crocheting, and knitting.
Phyllis is survived by two sons, Terry Wolfe and wife Karen of Brookville, and Tim Wolfe of Corsica. Also surviving are two brothers, Ben Waldorf and wife Mary of Summerville, James (Boyd) Waldorf and wife Peggy of Meshoppen, PA. and a sister Pat McIntyre and husband Ron of Dayton, PA. She is also survived by three grandchildren.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by daughter Gwen VanSteenburg who died July 16, 2007, and a sister Janet Heigel, and her husband Edward Heigel.
A memorial service will be held at 11 am, Saturday November 29, 2014 at the Church of the Nazarene, 209 Church St. Brookville.
A private Interment service was held on November 22, 2014 at the Vandervort Cemetery in Clover Twp., Jefferson County, PA.
