PIAA Hoops Semifinals Continue Tuesday – Some Games PPD to Thursday


MECHANICSBURG, Pa. (D9Sports) – The PIAA semifinals continue Tuesday with semifinal contests in six classifications – three boys and three girls – although on Tuesday afternoon many contests in the eastern half of the commonwealth were moved to Thursday because of weather.

Here is a look at the action Tuesday with any postponements and game times changes.

Class 1A Girls

(3-1) Lebanon Catholic vs. (1-1) Jenkintown, 6 p.m. at Downingtown West High School – PPD to Thursday at 5 p.m.
(6-1) Juniata Valley vs. (6-2) Bishop Carroll, 7 p.m. at Altoona High School – Moved to 5 p.m. Tuesday

Class 4A Girls

(3-1) Lancaster Catholic vs. (12-1) Bonner-Prendergast Catholic, 7:30 p.m. at Downingtown West High School – PPD to Thursday at 6:30 p.m.
(3-2) Berks Catholic vs. (7-1) Cardinal Wuerl North Catholic, 6:30 p.m. at Bald Eagle Area High School – PPD to Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Class 5A Girls

(11-1) Southern Lehigh vs. (12-1) Archbishop Wood, 7:30 p.m. at Souderton High School – PPD to Thursday at 7 p.m.
(12-3) Archbishop Carroll vs. (7-4) Mars, 5 p.m. at Bald Eagle Area High School – PPD to Thursday at 5 p.m.

Class 2A Boys

(2-1) Holy Cross vs. (12-2) Constitution, 6 p.m. at Liberty High School in Bethlehem – PPD to Thursday at 6 p.m.
(7-1) Sewickley Academy vs. (7-2) Our Lady of the Sacred Heart, 7 p.m. at Peters Township High School in McMurray

Class 3A Boys

(12-1) Neumann-Goretti vs. (3-1) Trinity Catholic, 7 p.m. at Garden Spot High School in New Holland – PPD to Thursday at 7 p.m.
(3-4) Lancaster Mennonite vs. (6-2) Richland, 7:30 p.m. at Chambersburg High School – PPD to Thursday at 7:30 p.m.

Class 6A Boys

(2-1) Hazelton vs. (12-1) Lincoln, 7:30 p.m. at Liberty High School in Bethlehem – PPD to Thursday at 7:30 p.m.
(12-2) Roman Catholic vs. (7-2) Pine-Richland, 6 p.m. at Chambersburg High School – PPD to Thursday at 6 p.m.
