Pickup Plowing Snow Crashes into Oncoming Car on Route 322

ROSE TWP., Pa. (EYT) – Two people escaped injury in a February 13 crash in Rose Township, Jefferson County.

Police say the accident happened around 9:05 a.m. in the area of 5328 Route 322.

80-year-old Fred D. Kelso, Jr., of Brookville, was traveling east on SR-322 and 55-year-old Jon D. Hawk, of Clarion, was plowing the parking lot of Brookville Lanes Bowling Alley.

Police say Hawk backed into the path of Kelso’s 2008 Ford F-150, causing it to spin clockwise.

Kelso’s vehicle subsequently struck a block wall off the roadway before coming to a final rest facing west.

Hawk’s 1998 Chevrolet Silverado spun clockwise before coming to a final rest on Route 322, according to police.

No injuries were reported.

Hawk was cited with failing to properly backup a vehicle.
