Pickup Slams into Tree, Strikes Embankment, Rolls Over on Route 36

BARNETT TOWNSHIP, Pa. (EYT) – According to Marienville-based State Police, around 6:49 a.m. on November 30, a one-vehicle accident occurred on State Route 36, in Barnett Township, Jefferson County.

Police say 25-year-old Sean W. Wright, of Tionesta, was traveling southbound on SR 36 and lost control of his 1999 Ford F-250 pickup.

The vehicle spun in a clockwise direction and traveled off the eastern side of the roadway for a distance of approximately 15′, and the rear of the vehicle impacted a tree. The vehicle then struck an embankment and traveled a distance of approximately 25′ before overturning onto its roof, according to police.

The vehicle came to a final rest partially on the northern lane of SR 36, facing a western direction.

Wright was using a seat belt and was not injured,

The pickup sustained severe damage and was towed from the scene by Snyder’s Auto Body.

Wright was charged with a traffic violation.
