Man Arrested for Stealing Shoelaces from Local Boot Shop

BROOKVILLE, Pa. (EYT) – Brookville Borough Police say on March 9, an incident of retail theft and criminal mischief occurred at Jack’s Boot Shop in Brookville, Jefferson County.

According to police, it is alleged that 63-year-old Gary E. Thomas of Pittsburgh entered Jack’s Boot Shop and removed boot laces from two separate pairs of boots, placed the laces in his pocket, and left the store.

Citations for retail theft and criminal mischief were filed at Magistrate Bazylak’s office.
