Planned Power Outage in Brookville Moved to Thursday

BROOKVILLE BOROUGH, Pa. (EYT) – Due to inclement weather, a planned power outage that was initially scheduled for Wednesday, December 4, has been pushed back to Thursday, December 5.

According to Brookville Borough Manager Dana Schreckengost, the outage is occurring due to the PennDOT East Main Street construction project.

The following roadways will be affected by the outage:

– Bills
– Brook
– Brookside
– Brush
– Clark
– Community
– Crestwood
– E. Main
– Evans
– Haney
– Hilltop
– Knoxdale
– Laurel
– McCullough
– Northview
– Pennsylvania
– Pinebrook
– Richards
– Sarvey
– PA Route 28
– PA Route 322

“Those customers should be being notified by Penelec,” Schreckengost noted.

The outage is expected to occur between 1:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m.
