AMBER SCOTT – SENIOR – TITUSVILLE

Daughter of: Tim and Lori Scott
Sports Played: Volleyball, Basketball, Softball
Family Members Playing/Played Sports: Her sister Rachel Scott played softball in high school.
2018-19 Highlights: Earned the Gilbert Parke Girls’ Basketball Award … District 10 Region 2 All-Star Volleyball … Region 3 Al-Star basketball member … Region 6 All-Star softball.
Post-High School Plans: She would like to attend a four-year college for either Occupational Therapy or Scientific Engineering. She would like to play softball or volleyball in college.

Q&A With Amber Scott

EYT Media: What is your favorite sport to participate in and why?
AS: Softball. I have been playing since I was eight, and I have made so many amazing memories and friends throughout the years. I love the game and all of the people I have played with.

EYT Media: What is your favorite memory, moment, game from playing high school sports?
AS: Winning the District 19 softball championship against Northwestern and getting escorted back into town by police and fire trucks.

EYT Media: Why do you play high school sports?
AS: It keeps me focused in school, and I love the competitiveness.

EYT Media: Who has had the most influence on your athletic career and why?
AS: My parents. I always want to do better to make them proud and they are the most supportive people in my life! I know I’ll have a good game when I see them sitting in the bleachers.

EYT Media: If you could change one thing about high school sports, what would it be and why?
AS: I wish you could play more than one sport in a season. I would like to play softball and track, but I’m only allowed to play one.

EYT Media: If you could be president for a day, what would be the one major thing you would do?
AS: I would try to set plans in place to fix our environmental problems like pollution and climate change.

EYT Media: What is your ideal place to live? County, City, Suburb? Why?
AS: I prefer to live in the country because I was raised in a small town or farm.

EYT Media: What would someone who doesn’t know you be surprised to find out about you?
AS: If someone didn’t know me, they would be surprised to find out that I like to build and fix things with my dad.

EYT Media: What is your strongest subject in school?
AS: Math is my strongest subject in school because I enjoy it.

EYT Media: If there was one period in history or one event in history you could go back to, what would it be?
AS: I would go back to the 1980s because I want to see my parents as teenagers and to see all the crazy hairstyles and outfits.

EYT Media: What question do you wish I would have asked you? And what is the answer to it?
AS: I wish you would have asked me what I love most about being in sports. I love all of the friendships that I have made and the opportunities I had had to work with different coaches. Sports are a big part of who I am and they have taught me things like having a good work ethic, teamwork, achieving goals and time management. Sports have allowed me to travel, and it keeps me busy.
